The management team of rising Ghanaianmusician, Kuami Eugene, have revealed that three top musicians refused to feature on his hit song, ‘Angela.’

According to a report by zionfelix.net, the management team of Lynx Entertainment, headed by Richie Mensah, revealed that all of them refused the request.

Richie Mensah is reported to have added that the musicians, whose identities were undisclosed, expressed reluctance because, they wanted to see Kuami Eugene’s talent in action before they committed themselves.

He however stated that he understood the reason behind their decision to reject the song. However, he went on, things changed as soon as the song became a hit.

“When we were trying to make the boys, did you see anyone helping us? Why do you think that their songs don’t have features? When we were releasing Angela last year, I can mention three big artistes we tried to get on it but all turned it down.”, he said.

He went on to say that he doesn’t blame them, because there are always challenges when starting something new.

Kuami Eugene’s ‘Angela’ was nominated for the ‘Highlife Song of The Year’ category at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
