Prophet Badu Kobi says Shatta Wale has used his stickers in order to release hit songs
- He says the "dancehall king" told him this recently
- He was speaking on UTV's Adekye Nsroma morning show
Prophet Badu Kobi, founding pastor of the Glorious Wave Church, has stated that Ghana's self-styled dancehall king used his stickers before he released some of his hit songs during a recent interview.
Speaking in an interview on UTV's Adekye Nsroma morning show, Prophet Badu Kobi said he received a call from Shatta Wale, who thanked him for everything he [Prophet Badu Kobi] was doing in the dancehall artist's life.
According to the popular evangelist pastor, Shatta Wale said he prayed over one of the popular pastor's stickers and asked that the doors of heaven be opened for him if he [Prophet Badu Kobi] is a true man of God.
Prophet Badu Kobi said after this prayer, Shatta Wale said he began to release hit songs consecutively.
This comes after several weeks of open disagreement between Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, and Prophet Badu Kobi over what Rev. Owusu Bempah's deemed as insubordinate behavior by Prophet Badu Kobi.
“Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi who prophesied during the campaign season that a certain party would win the elections and also added that a particular candidate cannot be President of Ghana, is no longer my spiritual son.
This is because he doesn’t heed to my counsel and has joined a certain company of individuals that I’m not comfortable with against my wishes,” Owusu Bempah is known to have said.
Although Prophet Badu Kobi has subsequently released a statement expressing his gratitude to Owusu Bempah for the spiritual training he's provided him.
